Lana Christine Edmundson DeLong, 50, of Brentwood, NH passed away peacefully with family by her side at the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA on 13 August, 2025.

Lana, daughter of Carolyn and William Edmundson, was born on 17 January 1975 in Concord, MA. She grew up in an Air Force family living in Japan, England and multiple U.S. locations. She graduated from Gateway High School, Aurora, CO and attended some college in NH and Hawaii and also worked as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines based out of Newark, NJ.

Lana met her husband in Alexandria, VA and proudly served as a military spouse for 26 years keeping the home fires burning, a homemaker and lover of art, decorating and antiques opening her own small businesses in Newmarket and Dover, NH. She always loved helping friends and family with interior decorating their homes. Wherever she moved, she always made an inviting, cozy home for family, neighbors and friends while her husband served in the military even after finally moving back to Nashua, then eventually Brentwood, NH. Lana was also an avid gardener and homesteader with a deep love for all animals. Her smile and beauty would light up any room with joy and laughter along with reaching out to long-distant friends to keep in touch. Her pride and joy was raising a beautiful daughter and taking care of her family and pets.

Lana is survived by her husband Steven DeLong, Lt Col, USAF (retired) and daughter Hannah DeLong of Brentwood, NH. Her mother Carolyn Edmundson of Wimauma, FL, sister and brother-in-law Jennifer and Todd Kirn of Kennebunk, ME and brother and sister-in-law William Kelley Edmundson III & Jennifer Edmundson stationed in Germany and so many other relatives. She is pre-deceased by her father William Kelley Edmundson II.

A celebration of life will be held at their family home at 38 Peabody Drive, Brentwood, NH on October 11th at 1pm. Donations in her memory can be made to your local ASPCA or hospice house.

Lana will be missed dearly by family and friends around the world. Her strength, spirit and kindness will live on with us until we all meet again.
