Adrian Michael Kobrin's Musical Biography written by him for an interview
Influenced at a young age of 13 by the Beatles and the Motown sound. Purchased my first guitar from the Sears catalog. Played in a high school band until I realized I wanted to be a "player". Throughout the years my musical journey has been quite extensive and richly rewarding. I started the Buffalo Hall of Fame group "Weekend", with Hall of Fame musicians Ned Wood,and Tom and Rick Ryan. Also,have been inducted in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame for playing in local bands, Junction West & Lance Diamond.
Went on traveling extensively on the road with Las Vegas type show band "United Sound ". United Sound was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2003. Played back up band for Chubby Checker and Bobby Sherman. Opened concerts for many famous groups. Nominated for Buffalo's best top 40 guitarist several times by the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.
Currently a member of local groups "This and That Band", "Hernandez Brothers Show Band", "Urban Renewal ", "Back in Time", and "Groove Train", (Tower of Power cover band)
