Emmett Irvine Grissam Obituary
Emmett Irvine Grissam, 74, husband of Eva Stewart Grissam, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family, in Winchester, Kentucky. Born on January 27, 1949, he was the son of the late Dayton Grissam and Polly Allnutt. Emmett retired from Toyota Motor Manufacturing and previously worked for IBM of Lexington. He was also the owner of T&G Shell Station. In addition to his loving wife of 56 years, he is survived by three children, Sherry Grissam (John Kline), Emmett Grissam, Jr. (Jennifer), and Kimberly Grissam (Leighanne Wilson); grandchildren, Hayden Elliott, Karlee Grissam, Ryan James, Ashley James Todd (Owen), Sarah James, and Jacob Grissam; great grandson, Ryder Elliott; brothers, Rodger Grissam (Monica), Winston Grissam, Sr. (Sharline), and Gene Allnutt (Cindi Woosley). He was also preceded in death by his brother, Carvel Grissam.
