Kerry was born and raised in Commanda, ON. Growing up on the Booth Farm he learned life skills such as hard work, hunting, and fixing up fast cars that would serve him throughout his life. Kerry eventually moved down the road to Port Loring where he started a family and laid his own roots.
Kerry built Booth Service Centre in Arnstein, ON, and successfully operated it for 32 years. Always looking for a new venture, he also ran a fleet of school buses and operated a local tow truck business.
Kerry had a strong sense of community. He enjoyed being an active member of the Argyle Fire Department for 30 years and was the Fire Chief for many of those years. He also served on the Local Service Board, continuously trying to support the community and improve it.
Kerry enjoyed playing hockey with the 'old timers' and looked forward to vacationing every December, sitting in his tree stand in minus 30 degree weather with a cup of hot tea, waiting for the next big buck to come along.
Kerry had many stories and cherished his friendships that he made throughout the years living in the Commanda and Port Loring areas.
