With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of Tomoki Iwamoto, who was taken too soon from us on January 25, 2023 at the young age of 39. Tomoki had a way of making everyone feel special and valued; his upbeat energy, contagious smile and laugh could light up any room. He was an avid photographer, who loved capturing life's precious moments and sharing his latest finds in music, film, video games and art with family and friends. Tomoki was truly an artist who had natural talents for graphic design, photography, drawing, singing, and playing guitar.
Tomoki will be forever loved by his wife Brenda, his parents Ryuji and Yukiko, siblings Motoki (Grace), Takaki, Leina (Nhut) and Kai (Matt), nephews Reiden and Kobi, nieces Emma and Anne, and his furbabies Phoebe and Frankie. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tomoki was Born in Langley BC, was raised in Nanton Alberta all through his school years and graduated at J.T. Foster High School in 2001. Tomoki lived and worked and made a beautiful life with his wife, family, and friends in Calgary AB. Tomoki met the love of his life, Brenda in June 2012 and they were married in June of 2022.
The family will receive friends at Eden Brook Cemetery for the funeral services and burial, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tomoki's memory to the Go Fund Me Page. Service starts at 10:00 am on February 2nd. Guests can begin arriving at 09:30
