It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Esteban “Stevie” C. Garza IV, who left this world unexpectedly on October 25, 2025, at the young age of 20. Though his time with us was far too short, Esteban filled every moment with light, laughter, and love.
Born on November 17, 2004, to Esteban S. Garza III and Yvette Ann Castillo, Esteban was a radiant soul from the very beginning — charismatic, kind, funny, genuine, and full of life. His boundless energy and innate ability to bring joy to others made every room he entered brighter.
A proud graduate of Flour Bluff High School’s Class of 2023, Esteban’s passion for helping others led him to serve as an EMT-B with Allegiance Mobile Health. He loved being able to make a difference, often referring to his work as “being a hero.” His compassion for others touched countless lives, both in and outside of his profession.
Continuing his journey at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Esteban was pursuing a degree in Neuroscience with big dreams of attending medical school. His dedication and drive to serve his community reflected not only his intelligence but also his incredible heart.
To family and friends, Esteban was unforgettable — his humor, warmth, and sincerity left a mark on everyone he met. He had a rare gift for making others feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether sharing stories, spontaneous adventures, or heartfelt conversations, Esteban’s vibrant spirit brought people together in the most beautiful ways.
In his free time, Esteban loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, and traveling — often taking trips to Austin, College Station, Dallas, and even an annual journey to Oklahoma. No matter where he went, he gathered memories and friendships along the way. His love of life and adventure will forever inspire those who knew him.
Esteban’s presence was a blessing, his laughter unforgettable, and his love everlasting. Though gone too soon, he will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched and the cherished moments shared with him.
