Lena Richie Howard was born in Lexington KY on 6/13/1959. Lena graduated from Lafayette High School, she attended the Univeristy of Kentucky. She was employed at UK Healthcare and retired from UK Health Care. Lena was married to Ken Howard, she has two sons Taylor and Drew Howard and two beautiful grand babies Lakyn and Landry Howard. She has four siblings Noel Richie, Lloyd Dean Richie, Phyllis Slone, and Angie Richie Purcell.
Lena was the most caring and giving person. She went out of her way to help others, including the homeless and stray animals. She was a loving and wonderful mother to her two sons, making sure they had everything that she could give them. She was so proud of her sons and constantly bragged on the men they had become. She loved her grandbabies and was so excited to have them in her life. She loved animals and did rescue for stray cats. She fed the homeless, gave to the needy, and tried to make a diffence in this world. She gave so much to others, that she neglected herself. She would give you her last dollar. Her heart was so huge. She gave and never expected anything in return. The world would definitely be a better place if people had hearts like Lena did.
