OLMSTED, Karen Alayne (DeLong) passed
away on April 17, 2025 at age 74. She leaves behind her Son Brian (Frida),
granddaughter Josephine and siblings Marlene, brother-in-law John, Vonna
(Dave), Greg (Loretta), Debbie (Lou) and Kelly. She also leaves behind several
nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Karen was predeceased by her
father Denton (1995), mother Elizabeth (2001), sister Dale (2015), brother
Kelvin (“Bub”) (2019). She was a friend to many and will surely be missed.
Cremation has taken place with a private memorial service to be held with
family and friends. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Karen
Olmsted’s name to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada. The family wishes to send a
special thank you to the staff at the Villa Colombo Long Term Care. Your caring
and support for Karen will always be remembered.



Karen arranged for her brother Kelvin "Bub" DeLong to share the niche after his sudden death at Pleasantview Funeral Homes and Cemetaries and he hereby rests here. Here is his Obituary from 2019.
