Anthony Charles Farley Carruthers was born on October 16, 1996 in Los Angeles, to the proud parents of Nina Carruthers and Moses Farley and surrounded by the unconditional love of his dear auntie Nyesha Coleman. Anthony, was also known as Lil Ant for his family and close friends, Nino, KB, Juice, or Kingninothajuiceman, his latest rap name. He started writing music at a young age, on notebooks then on his innumerable phones.
A true poet and lyricist, he wanted to share through his music his experience, growing up in a rough environment. Passionate and perseverant, he eventually taught himself how to record on a laptop, then his rap endeavor took a turn for the better when he met Kev who opened the doors of his music studio. But music was not is only passion. How to honor is memory without mentioning his love for basketball! He started at a young age as well and played on every court possible in the city, from Gladys park DTLA to Venice Beach.
Beyond his passion for rap and basketball, Anthony has something very special, something magical to him that is hard to encapsulate with words, but that everyone who ever crossed path with him, feel in their heart to this day. Cause one thing about Anthony, he was LOVED. From family, friends, music associates, lovers, we all saw that spark in him and extended our arms.
Anthony was destined to a bright future. His brutal murder on March 25, 2024 is a tragedy for all of us. But we are here to celebrate his life and his legacy that lives through his beautiful children Amina, Deonna, AJ and Aliyah. God knows how much Anthony adored them! And if there was one thing to remember about him, is how much of a proud father he was, and is. Be sure he is still here with us in spirit, ready to beat our ass if he sees us crying. We love you so much and forever.
