John Edward TUTTROEN Obituary

 

July 24, 1946 Prince Albert, Saskatchewan

June 14, 2021 Airdrie, Alberta

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our Father, Papa and Best Friend John Tuttroen, on Monday, June 14, 2021, at the age of 74 years, at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

John was born in Prince Albert, SK, on July 24th, 1946, to Arnold (Bud) and Mildred Tuttroen. He was raised in Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary, Alberta to attend SAIT, and later met and married the love of his life Donna Voykin, and raised their three daughters, Shauna, Marnie, and Corrie.

John is survived by his daughters, Shauna (Randy), Marnie (Brad), Corrie (Sean); grandchildren, Meeca, NeaKeah, Rayven, Kassity, Kai, Brayden, and Mikayla; great-grandchildren, Zeya and Jayda; brother Bill (Pat), sisters, Marilyn (Terry) Lofstom, and Karen (Arnold) Isbister; sisters-in-law, Elaine Tuttroen and Dianne Antoneshyn; and brother-in-law Barry (Gail) Voykin.

John was predeceased by his loving wife Donna Tuttroen (nee Voykin), parents, Arnold Bud and Mildred Tuttroen; and his brother Bob Tuttroen.

 Special thanks to Dr. G. Bebb, Nurse Kate and all the staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Center as well as the Airdrie Home Care Team, we sincerely appreciate each and every one of you.

 

 

Donna Marie TUTTROEN Obituary

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and best friend Donna Tuttroen on June 24, 2016 at the age of 68 years, with her family by her side.

Donna was born in Coleman, AB to Jim and Laura Voykin, she settled in Calgary, AB, where she met and married John and together they raised three daughters. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, for whom she lived life for - they were her everything.
Throughout her many years of volunteering at her grandchildren's school, she had made a significant impact in the children's and teacher's lives and was such an inspiration to the entire community.
Donna is survived by her devoted husband John; her daughters, Shauna (Randy), Marnie (Brad) and Corrie (Sean); her seven grandchildren, Meeca, Rayven, Brayden, Mikayla, NeaKeah, Kassity and Kai ;her twin Sister, Dianne (Murray); brother Barry (Gail); and numerous relatives and friends.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Laura Voykin; her sister Sharon Heinz.
