Victoria “Tori” Lynn Covell, 26, of Kaleva, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born April 25, 1997, in Traverse City, the daughter of Tony and Tasha (Jones) Covell.
Tori was a licensed cosmetologist currently employed at Sports Clips in Traverse City. She attended Kaleva Bible Church where she volunteered her time preparing the sermon outlines. She was a voracious reader with a goal to read one book per week. She also loved cats, music, and being outdoors, especially hunting and riding motorcycles with her dad. More than anything, Tori loved her family. She cherished time spent with her boys, Bentley and Greyson.
Tori is survived by: her sons, Bentley and Greyson; parents, Tony and Tasha Covell of Kaleva; siblings, Dakota (Nicole) Covell of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Austin Covell of Kaleva; boyfriend, Jacob; paternal grandparents, Jim and Vicki Covell; nieces and nephews, Alaina, Levi, and Kiera; aunts and uncles, Christina Jones-Hancock, Tyrone Jones, and Jay Covell; and many friends.
Tori was preceded in death by: her brother, Keith “Bubba” Parrington; maternal grandparents, Paul and Jill Jones; uncle, Timothy Jones; and aunt, Traci Jones.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, with Pastor David Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home. A luncheon will be held at Kaleva Bible Church immediately following services.
