Kelvin Smith Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pomeroy Funeral home. Kelvin D. Smith, age 71, a resident of Applegate and Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident.
He was born on August 4, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of the late Linus and Wanda (Wheatly) Smith. Kelvin married Kimberly Kay Williams on June 18, 1982 in Dayton, Ohio.
Kelvin was a retired engineer. He and his wife, Kim enjoyed spending the summer months at their home on Lake Huron and the winter months at their home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kelvin served on the Board of Directors at the Arizona Federal Credit Union and he belonged to a number of various cable associations. He also served as a Captain in the Fire Department in Warwick, Pennsylvania back in the 1990's.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; two sons Brandon and Daniel; four daughters, Nicole Smith, Chere Parker, Rene Smith and Catina Smith; his sister, Donna J. Smith.
Cremation has taken place.
