Helen M. Morefield, 66, was born in Johnson County, TN on July 25th, 1947 to Minnie and George Arnold. She passed away on May 18th, 2016 due to some complications form surgery. She was one of nine children. Helen was a feisty, stubborn, tough and a very outspoken woman. She didn't care to tell you what was on her mind and wouldn't listen to anything you told her. She loved to sing, and dance. She loved being outside in her flower bed or sitting on her swing. She loved going to yard sales. You would find her sitting on her couch with a tub of cottage cheese and cheese puffs or pork rinds. Helen was preceded in death by her husband James Morefield who she loved dearly, they was married for 30 years before he passed away in 1995. She was a member of Rock Springs Church of Chirst.
   Helen made such a big impact on the lives of everyone who she had met. She was an amazing person and she wouldn't care help anyone if they had ever needed it. She was always the glue that held her family together. Every year on her birthday her family would come together and have a big cookout to celebrate her. They would play guiter and sing, and she would always have the biggest smile on her face.  
  Helen had five children of her own and many grandchlidren and great grandchildren. She loved spending time with them all.  She enjoyed a lot of different hobbies like sewing and gardening. Helen used to work for the glove plant in Mountain City, Tn. She also worked work at the Shoe plant and Lee Co. After she had her children she dedicated her life to her family. She will be missed dearly, but her memory will forever live on in the memories of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.
